Alex Iwobi and Ademola Lookman will return to the starting line-up for Nigeria’s round of 16 contest against Cameroon on Saturday.
The duo started the Super Eagles’ clash with Guinea-Bissau from the bench.
Iwobi will take the place of Southampton’s Joe Aribo in midfield.
Aribo made his first start at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations against Guinea-Bissau but put up an underwhelming performance.
Chukwueze has also failed to live up to expectations in Cote d’Ivoire and will be named among the substitutes.
Head coach, Jose Peseiro has the full complement of 25 players at his disposal.
