The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Media Director, Ademola Olajire, has now disclosed that the team will camp in the UAE.
Jose Peseiro’s men are one of the favourites for the tournament that is a mere six weeks away.
The AFCON coincides with the European season, but players would have to leave their respective clubs at least one week before the competition begins.
The Eagles are in Group A alongside Equatorial Guinea, Ivory Coast, and Guinea-Bissau.
The three-time African champions will kick off their AFCON campaign on January 14 against Equatorial Guinea.
